Doggy Treats

We have two dogs. For G’s birthday, I shared the Doggy Cupcakes recipe, but for Titan’s birthday (which is today!), I’m making these treats for them. I made them last year, and it made a lot, but they store well in the fridge. So the pups get lots of leftover birthday treats over the next several days. Which they love. But it helps that we can eat them too! Top them with a delicious chocolate frosting and enjoy as well!

Yummy doggy treats for your pup! Great for birthdays, "gotcha" days, or whenever you want to give your pup a delicious treat (one you can frost and eat too!).

What you'll need:
  • 1 medium sweet potato, cooked and cooled
  • 1 banana
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp natural peanut butter (unsalted preferred)
  • 1 cup brown rice flour
What you'll do:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (176 C) and ready muffin tins/baking molds (I use silicone cups).
  2. Blend sweet potato, banana, water, and peanut butter in a blender (like a Vitamix).
  3. Put brown rice flour in a medium bowl and pour blended sweet potato mixture over it. Stir well to combine.
  4. Pour batter into muffin tins or molds and bake for 25 minutes. Then let cool, pop out of molds, and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
