Simple Guacamole

I make some super simple guacamole, but I always get compliments on it. Since I’m not a big “chunks in food” person, I use minimal ingredients, and it makes a smooth dip for your chip. 🙂 But there are lots of things you can add to play around with it, so it’s easily customizable though delicious on its own, seeing as it’s just avocado, lemon juice, and garlic powder.

Seriously easy, right? But it’s totally delicious. I’d suggest adding some salsa or diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, jalapenos, a pinch of salt, lime juice in place of the lemon, etc. The possibilities are endless. Serve with corn tortilla chips or veggies, spread on sandwiches or wraps, or steal a spoonful when no one’s looking. I won’t tell. 🙂

A creamy, savory guacamole made with simple ingredients in just 5 minutes. It's a no-fuss, easily customizable dip and spread!

What you'll need:
  • 4 avocados
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp garlic powder*
  • 1 - 2 tsp lemon juice
What you'll do:
  1. Scoop out the inside of the avocados, mash, and discard the pits.
  2. Add garlic powder and lemon juice. Mix well.
  3. Enjoy! Stores well covered in fridge for a day or two.
Recipe Notes

*Make this recipe raw by adding fresh minced garlic instead of garlic powder.
