Plum Watermelonade

Y’all. I’m obsessed with Watermelonade. We all know this. I’ve made regular, Pineapple, and even mango. Also peach! But I bought some clearance plums the other day and knew exactly what I wanted to do with them. Thus, Plum Watermelonade was born and it’s DELIGHTFUL! Goodness, life is amazing.

It’s so simple. Just watermelon, plums, and a squeeze of lemon juice! This makes a good 48 ounces or so, so enjoy as much or as little as you’d like. But I have a hard time saving this stuff, so… 😉

You can’t go wrong. It’s super refreshing, especially if you freeze the plums or the watermelon first. And you can get this really smooth with a high speed blender. You could probably even freeze it to make Popsicles, which sounds like a fun project for me later! Haha. Enjoy!

Course: Breakfast
Cuisine: Gluten-Free, Vegan
Keyword: Drink, smoothie
Servings: 2
What you'll need:
  • 4-5 cups watermelon
  • 5 ripe plums
  • 1 lemon, juiced
What you'll do:
  1. Add watermelon to your blender and blend until smooth. Be sure to pour any juice from the watermelon into your blender as well. That'll help the watermelon blend, but if you need to add a little water to get it going, that's okay.

  2. Add plums and lemon juice to watermelon juice and blend again until smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy! Leftovers will keep in the refrigerator up to 48 hours.
