It’s time for another doggy recipe. And this Doggy Peanut Butter Fudge is inspired by the other bites and fudge I’ve made. Every time I make them, my dogs look at me like they want some. But with the maple syrup in there, I never want to share. So I finally made them their own! If you have a pup in your life, they’ll love these, so let’s get to it!
These are super easy to make, and you only need three ingredients to get the job done: a ripe banana (frozen-thawed or fresh), natural peanut butter, and coconut flour. They’re all good, wholesome ingredients for dogs, though you’ll still want to ration these. 🙂
They come together pretty easily. Keeping them in the fridge means they stay a little tacky to the touch, which makes them easier for pups to enjoy. These keep in the freezer though too, so take your pick. And feel free to enjoy one of these yourself! But don’t let the dogs catch you.
The last Wednesday of every month is for the dogs! No, literally. I post a doggy recipe this time each month, so check out the others one, like my Doggy Cupcakes, Doggy Treats, Doggy Cookies, and Carob Doggy Cookies.
Let me know if you try this recipe! Comment below, rate it, or take a photo and tag me @fruitsohard or #fruitsohard on Instagram. I’d love to see your creations. Doggy peanut butter fudge is the perfect treat for the pups in your life. Just 3 simple ingredients are needed to make this easy doggy dessert.
- 1 ripe banana (fresh or frozen-thawed work fine)
- 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
In a mixing bowl, mash banana. Then stir in peanut butter until well mixed.
Add coconut flour and stir well. It should form a dough here.
Pinch off 1-tbsp amounts and roll into balls with your palms. Then store in the fridge up to 1 week in an airtight container.
